Welcome to
Woodfamilyhunting.com my name is Scott Wood and I created this website to
share our hunting memories with family and friends. I have had the privilege
of growing up in a large family of hunters and have been immersed in the
culture of hunting since my youngest memories. I and my family strongly
believe in passing on our heritage to our spouses and children and others
that have not had the benefits we had growing up. Most of the images you
will see on this web site are game animals shot here in New Hampshire by
members of my immediate family. Right now you will see 4 generations of
hunting memories and I hope for many more generations to come. My
grandmother and grandfather Wally and Jean Wood are the true patriarchs of
this hunting family and they passed their passion and understanding of
hunting to their children. Those children comprise the second generation of
Barry Wood Sr, Sherry Smith, Wally Wood, Holly Brouillet , and Tim Wood.
Some of the pictures you will see in the second generation are the results
of successful hunts by either these individuals or their spouses such as
Eric Brouillet and a few
choice friends and relatives. The Third Generation is my generation you will
find pictures here of successful hunts by Doug Smith, Lenny Smith, Barry
Wood Jr, Scott Wood, Nicole Shatney, Kim Wood, Jamie Wood, Jeff Wood, Devon
Wood, Dustin Wood and Jared Brouillet. We hope to add many more in the future. And Finally
we have the Fourth Generation, folks it is going to be this generation that
keeps us hunting into the future and we need to introduce as many of these
youngsters as we can. Our successful hunter in the fourth generation is
Wayne “Buddy” Hughes with his successful whitetail hunt. If you browse over
to the turkey page or the fishing page you will see more of our future
hunters in Tyler and Jacob Wood and Taylor and Cameron Hughes. We keep
building the future for hunting today so take your son or daughter, or the
grand kids out, or even introduce someone else to our great sport of
hunting. If you have any pictures to add to any of the generations or just
some weird or unusual or even extraordinary pictures feel free to email them
to me and I will get them up for all to enjoy. Thank You and Enjoy!!!!
To Nana & Grampa Wood thank you for sharing with us your experiences and for
giving us great parents that continued this tradition. -Scott
